با تقدیم احترام

 

طی چند روز اخیر شاهد تجاوز نظامی رژیم اسرائیل به جمهوری اسلامی ایران و کشتار غیرنظامیان و دانشمندان برجسته کشور و تعداد از ورزشکاران ایران بودیم که نشان از نقض فاحش قوانین بین المللی و حقوق بشری است.

ترور دانشمندان و اساتید برجسته ای که چراغ علم و دانش را افروخته‌اند و همواره در مسیر آگاهی، دانایی و صلح قدم برداشته اند، اقدامی تروریستی و ضد بشری است که لازم است از سوی همه مراکز علمی دنیا محکوم شود.

از سوی دیگر تهاجم و تعرض نظامی به تأسیسات هسته‌ای ایران از جمله مراکز تحقیقاتی و نیروگاه‌های صلح‌آمیز انرژی هسته‌ای و نقض آشکار 'کنوانسیون عدم اشاعه'؛ ضروری است شورای امنیت سازمان ملل متحد، قطعنامه ۴۸۷ خود را حفظ و اجرا کند و جهانیان و به ویژه دانشمندان و بزرگان علمی جهان در زمینه خطرات هسته‌ای و آلودگی‌های ناشی از صدمات حملات، روشنگری کنند و حمایت قاطع خود را از عدم گسترش این خطرات در منطقه راهبردی خاورمیانه اعلام کنند. 

این اقدامات جنایتکارانه، نقض قواعد و مقررات بین‌المللی بوده و بر اساس ماده ۳۹ منشور ملل متحد، سندی عیان در اقدام یک رژیم در نقض، و تهدید جدی علیه صلح و امنیت بین‌المللی است.

امید که همه مراکز تولید علم و اندیشه و رهروان صلح ، عدالت، دانایی و آگاهی با اتخاذ مواضع روشن و اقدامات عملی، در برابر 'جنایات علیه بشریت'  ایستادگی کنند.

Dear Presidents and Deans of Universities in the World With respect,Over the past few days, we have witnessed the Israeli regime's military aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the killing of civilians, prominent scientists and athletes in the country which is a gross violation of international law and human rights. The assassination of distinguished scientists and professors who were the pioneers of science and knowledge and have always acted on the path of awareness, wisdom, and peace is a terrorist and inhumane act that must be condemned by all academic and scientific institutions in the world.On the other hand, it is essential that the United Nations Security Council uphold and implement its Resolution 487 for the invasion and military aggression on Iran's nuclear facilities, including research centers and peaceful nuclear power plants, and for the obvious violation of the Non-Proliferation Treaty.The global community, especially scholars and scientific leaders, should warn and enlighten against the potential nuclear contamination and express their strong support for preventing the spread of these dangers resulting from the damage caused due to terrorist and military attacks in the strategic Middle East region.These criminal acts are a violation of international rules and regulations and, based on Article 39 of the United Nations Charter, are clear evidence of a regime's actions against international peace and security.We hope that all centers of science and knowledge and followers of peace, justice, wisdom, and awareness will stand against 'crimes against humanity' by adopting clear positions and taking practical measures.With regards,Dr. Yousef HojjatPresident of Tarbiat Modares University
